ESKAY MINING CORP. ("Eskay" or the "Corporation") (TSX
VENTURE:ESK)(FRANKFURT:878 985)(BERLIN:878 985) announces that Doug Chalmers has
left the Board of Directors.


Doug Chalmers has left the Board of Directors for personal reasons. The Board
thanks Doug for his valuable contribution during his tenure and wishes him well
in future endeavors.
