Timer Explorations Inc. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:TES) is pleased to announce
that it will complete its name change to Potash North Resource Corporation and
complete a split of its common shares on a 2 (new) - for - 1 (old) basis on May
30, 2008. On completion of the split there will be 26,645,002 common shares
issued and outstanding.


Effective at the opening of the Exchange on May 30, 2008 the common shares of
the Company will be listed under the new name and the symbol PON but remain
halted from trading on the Exchange.


The record date for the purpose of the share split is also May 30, 2008. The
push-out method will be used to effect the split and common shareholders of
record at the close of business on May 30, 2008 will be mailed new share
certificates.


Potash North is acquiring a corporation with the rights to receive two potash
exploration permits, if and when issued pursuant to permit applications known as
KP 416 and KP 417, covering areas located in Saskatchewan as described in a news
release dated May 12, 2008 (the "Acquisition"). Upon issue of the permits the
Company will focus on the exploration, evaluation and development of the permit
areas. The Company expects the permits will be issued in the near term by the
Saskatchewan government.


The Company expects to close a part and parcel private placement of a minimum of
20,000,000 and up to 24,000,000 units to raise gross proceeds of up to
$8,400,000 concurrent with the closing of the Acquisition.


Trading in shares of the Company will remain halted pending satisfaction of
certain requirements of the Exchange regarding the Acquisition.
