GE Vernova has acquired Greenbird Integration Technology, the Norway-based maker of the Utilihive data integration platform for utilities.

General Electric's energy businesses will become a separate company called GE Vernova in 2024.

GE Vernova said the platform will accelerate its GridOS software for grid orchestration.

The sale price wasn't disclosed. Greenbird said in September 2020 that it secured 5 million euros ($5.46 million) of series B funding.
