Compass Group said Gary Green, its chief operating officer,
North America, will step down from the role at the end of November
after nearly 40 years of service, and named Chief Financial Officer
Palmer Brown as his successor.
The U.K. catering contractor said Friday that while Green will
step down from the board on Nov. 30, he will remain available to
the company until the end of March.
Brown will hand over his responsibilities as CFO to Petros
Parras, current regional finance director, Europe Middle East.
Brown joined the U.S. business 22 years ago, and served the company
as group commercial director before becoming CFO in 2021.
Parras joined the business in 2020, and prior to Compass, worked
in businesses including Procter & Gamble, Reckitt Benckiser and
Coty in Europe and North America in senior finance, operational and
strategic roles.
