How To Set Ringtones For Iphone Using Itunes Software:

IPhone users must not be strangers to the iTunes software anymore. This is a specialized software provided by Apple free of charge for iOS users. In case you have not downloaded and installed this software, you can download directly at the link below:

After downloading and installing the software, you proceed to install iPhone ringtones step by step as follows:

Step 1: Connect your iPhone to your computer and open the iTunes software

Step 2: At the iTunes interface, click on Library >> Song (Song).

Step 3: Import Mp3 music files into iTunes: Go to File Menu in the upper left corner >> Add File to Library.

Or more simply, you just need to drag and drop music files directly into the iTunes interface

Note: You can select many desired songs as ringtones, but required to tail is mp3.

Step 4: Next, proceed to get song information: Right-click and the song >> Song info.

Step 5: Cut music to create ringtone

In the song information interface >> Select Options >> Cut music 30 seconds (default iPhone ringtone is limited to only 30 seconds). Then select OK

Note: the music can be cut to your liking, it doesn't have to start at 0:00 seconds.

Step 6: Create AAC for the cut music
At the main interface, choose File >> Convert >> select Create AAC Version.

Step 7: Display in Windows Explorer

To display in Windows Explorer, do the following:

You right click on the newly cut ringtone >> select Show in Windows Explorer (Show in Windows Explorer) to put the ringtone into the folder.

Step 8: Change the music file extension:
The newly created music file is in .m4a format, you need to convert it to .m4r to use it on your iPhone.
Note:

If you don't see the music file showing you go to: ”Folder Option >> View >> Uncheck Hide extensions for known file types”.
If you don't see the filename extension, you need to turn this feature on. Turn to View >> File name extensions.
Step 9: Click on the iPhone icon in the left corner on iTunes

Step 10: Sync the ringtone to iPhone

Select Alert >> select ringtone >> Sync. Wait for the sync process to finish, please disconnect the cable connection from the computer and iPhone.
