KLDX Klondex Mines Ltd. (delisted)

Klondex Mines Ltd. (TSX: KDX and OTCQX: KLNDF), a Nevada gold exploration company, today announced the appointment of mining industry veteran, Rodney Cooper, to its Board of Directors. Mr. Cooper joins Klondex with extensive experience in both Nevada and underground mining. He takes the place of interim director Robert Buchan who has resigned to focus on his role as Chairman of Allied Nevada Gold and his other mining industry commitments.

A slate of seven new directors was elected at the Company’s AGM in June, including several directors serving in an interim capacity. The new board was elected by shareholders who in aggregate control over eight million shares of Klondex common stock.

Mr. Cooper has over 27 years of mining and mine engineering experience, in addition to several years experience as a securities analyst in the resource sector. Mr. Cooper currently serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of Labrador Iron Mines, Ltd. (TSX: LIM). His prior experience includes:
