Peace Arch� Entertainment Group Inc. (TSX: PAE)(NYSE-A: PAE) announced today the Canadian DVD release of the complete second season of its critically acclaimed TV series "The Tudors," starring Golden Globe� Award Winner Jonathan Rhys Myers ("August Rush," "Elvis," "Match Point") as King Henry VIII and eight-time Academy Award� Nominee Peter O'Toole ("Venus," "Troy," "Lawrence of Arabia") as Pope Paul III. "The Tudors" is created and written by Michael Hirst ("Elizabeth," "Elizabeth: The Golden Age") and is presented by Peace Arch Entertainment, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, and Showtime Networks. Peace Arch Home Entertainment, Inc. will release the DVD in stores across Canada on Tuesday November 11, 2008.

The ten part second season of "The Tudors" finds King Henry VIII (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) looking to annul his marriage to Katherine of Aragon (Maria Doyle Kennedy) in order to marry the younger Anne Boleyn (Natalie Dormer) and father an heir to the Tudor dynasty. However, the choice is met by refusal from the newly elected Pope Paul III (Peter O'Toole) and leads to a political and theological battle that will change history as the King launches a savage and ultimately bloody bid to be master of his own spiritual as well as secular destiny.

Concurrently with the release of season two, Peace Arch� will release a bilingual version of the first season making the complete first season of "The Tudors" available on DVD in French for the first time. The DVD will feature both English and French options allowing Canadian customers to choose between both languages.

Peace Arch� will follow up the second season and first season bilingual DVD releases of "The Tudors" by releasing both seasons of the acclaimed series on Blu-Ray Disc on November 25, 2008. Season One and Two will each be released in picture perfect high-definition 1080p at retailers across Canada with the first season's Blu-Ray version including a French track and additional never-before-seen bonus features.

"The Tudors," which is broadcast on the CBC in Canada and Showtime in the United States, has received extensive critical acclaim. To date "The Tudors" has received twelve Gemini nominations and three wins, as well as a total of six Emmy Award� nominations and three wins. The second season follows the huge success of the first season of "The Tudors" which resonated well with Canadian consumers.
