Australian engineering and infrastructure services firm Transfield Services Ltd. (TSE.AU) said Wednesday it has won a US$260 million contract to provide operations and maintenance services to the Port of Miami Tunnel project for 35 years.

The contract commences in 2014 after construction of the tunnel, that will link Miami's cargo and cruise port with the interstate highway system, is expected to begin in 2010 following financial close on the project on October 15, Transfield said in a statement.
