Donations To Japan Flood Victims From Binance

Binance is always making headlines, usually related to exchange malfunctions or about their new offices the most crypto-friendly countries - Malta. Instead Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao tweeted Saturday that the company will “begin” with a donation $1 million (made in BNB, BTC, or JPY) to victims of the torrential rains, flooding and mudslides happening in Japan. He also encouraged their “crypto partners” to make donations as well. It was only a couple weeks ago that Coinbase launched GiveCrypto, but it looks like Binance is beating them to the punch without even having an establish donation platform. Binance has set up a makeshift donation process for users of the exchange to make donations.

eToro Joins U.S. Mobile Investment Platform Competition

Competition between Circle, Robinhood, Square and Coinbase has grown significantly recently, as each platform has added features that blur the lines between each of them. Back in May eToro gathered up an additional $100 million in funding and announced they would be bringing their platform to good ol’ U.S. of A, as well as adding cryptocurrency to their product offerings. They currently have over 10 million registered users in 140 different counties. For reference, Robinhood has around 2 million just in the States. They will be releasing a crypto wallet soon (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Ripple, Dash, Litecoin, Ethereum Classic, Stellar Lumens, NEO), and adding an exchange platform by end of Q4.
