Kvaerner secures new US$450 million Revolving Credit Facility  

LONDON, 19 March 2001: Kvaerner, the Anglo-Norwegian engineering and
construction Group, today announced that it has successfully secured new
financing of US$450 million through a Revolving Credit Facility provided by
its group of relationship banks. The new facility will replace existing
facilities of US$700 million falling due in June 2001, and was substantially
oversubscribed.
