ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING


In both Ireland and the UK, we have experienced worthwhile growth in like for
like sales and also an improvement in operating profits.

Both countries also recorded improved operating margins.  Quarterly Group
sales exceeded IR#100 million (EUR127 million) for the first time in the
history of the Company.

In the absence of unforeseen circumstances, we expect continuing growth in
profits in the first half of this year.
