SERIES I/2006 EUR500,000,000 STEP-UP FIXED/FLOATING RATE 
NON-CUMULATIVE PERPETUAL PREFERRED SECURITIES 
(ISIN: XS0267456084; Common Code 026745608) (the "Preferred Securities") 
issued by 
banco de sabadell, s.a. ("Banco de Sabadell") 
Pursuant to the terms of the Tender Offer and Consent Solicitation Memorandum 
dated 24 March 2009 (the "Tender Offer and Consent Solicitation Memorandum"), 
the Company hereby announces that, following satisfaction of the conditions of 
the Offer, the Company has today successfully completed the repurchase of 
Preferred Securities tendered in connection with the Offer. 
The total aggregate amount in Liquidation Preference of Preferred Securities 
that have today been purchased by the Company is EUR151,850,000. All such 
repurchased Preferred Securities will be cancelled and will not be resold. 
The aggregate amount in Liquidation Preference of Preferred Securities which 
remain outstanding following such repurchase is EUR348,150,000.
