Publication of Amended Final Terms

The Final Terms in respect of the EUR591,750,000 Fixed Rate Series 40 Covered Bonds due August 2017 (ISIN: XS0391405940) issued under the EUR60 billion Covered Bond Programme of Bank of Scotland plc, unconditionally guaranteed by HBOS plc and unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed as to payments of interest and principal by HBOS Covered Bonds LLP, have been amended.

The response to item 35 "Manager" is amended from:

"On and from the Restructuring Date, Barclays Bank PLC and Lloyds TSB Bank plc."

To:

"On and from the Restructuring Date, Barclays Bank PLC and Lloyds TSB Bank plc are Lead Managers and Natixis a Co-Manager."

These changes were effective immediately.
