The Board of Deutschland Investment Corporation Inc announces that the
Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company held on 1st September 1997 approved
the various resolutions as set out in the Circular to Shareholders dated August
12th 1997. Accordingly, with effect from 1st September, Electra Fleming German
Managers Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Electra Fleming Holdings Limited,
have assumed the role of Manager to the Company.
