The Board of Advance Developing Markets Trust plc announces that  the
Net Asset Value per Ordinary Share  as at 21 October 2008 was  290.03
pence.

In accordance with the terms of the prospectus relating to the  issue
of 13,020,168  Subscription Shares  issued on  16 October  2008,  the
Subscription Price has been set at 291.00 pence.

Words and expressions  in the Company's  prospectus dated 16  October
2008 shall bear the same meaning in this announcement.
