Advance Developing Markets Trust plc ("the Company") notifies the
market of the following:

The Company's issued share capital currently consists of 65,100,837
ordinary shares with voting rights.  There are also 13,020,168
subscription shares in issue which do not hold voting rights.

Therefore the above figure of 65,100,837 ordinary shares may be used
by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they
will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a
change of interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and
Transparency Rules.
