August Equity Trust plc invests #5.4m for public to private of Planit Holdings
PLC


Further to the announcement made on 28 September 2006 August Equity Trust plc 
('AET') has announced that it has invested #5.4 million, through August Equity
Partners IV ('AEP IV'), to a Newco, Velocity Holdings Limited, for the public to
private transaction by scheme of arrangement for Planit Holdings PLC ('Planit').
The #40.9 million buy-out is being led by August Equity Limited ('AEL'), the
manager of AEP IV. Planit supplies software and services for computer aided
manufacture (CAM) in the wood, metal and marble segments and computer aided
design (CAD) systems for kitchen and bathroom retailers. The public to private
scheme is expected to become effective as of 1 December 2006.
