The Investment Trust of Investment Trusts PLC ('the Company') received
notification today from Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited ('Aberdeen') that,
following various transactions that took place on 16th July, 2001 and 17th
July, 2001 in the Ordinary shares of the Company on behalf of various clients
of Aberdeen as detailed below, Aberdeen's aggregate holding remains unchanged
at 14,320,156 representing 29.48% of the total issued share capital of that
class:
