                          Formal FAA approval for AKE2


AeroBox plc today announces the granting of a Joint Technical Standards Order
(JTSO) by United States Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) to permit US airlines
to operate the production variant (AKE2) of the AeroBox air container.

Bob Bushman, Chief Executive, said:

"Given our strict adherence to FAA requirements for airworthiness certification
in our design and production processes, the approval of the AKE2 was expected
but is still excellent news. It is another significant milestone on the planned
schedule to full production by the fourth quarter of this year.

Phase 1 of the new plant was completed at the end of April 2004 when we
commenced production our Aluminum bases in house. Phase 2, the commissioning of
the new version of the Edge Forming Machine ("EFM2"), is almost complete. The
EFM2 has been developed in house to exploit the Patents and know how developed
by the AeroBox group. The pre-production trials of the EFM2 confirm that the
EFM2 will exceed its planned production rate of 400 air containers per month
from a single shift. This is a ten fold increase from current production levels
with the EFM1 and enables us to assure prospective customers that we can deliver
the AeroBox air container in volume from the fourth quarter of this year.

Phase 3 of the new plant, the manufacture of the panel production equipment, is
also proceeding well. Our panel production equipment will build upon the
experience gained by our suppliers in building the two other plants in Germany
and China that use the same licensed technology. Phase 3 allows us to produce
lighter panels and to optimise other physical characteristics of panels. The new
production facility is on track for full production capability by the fourth
quarter of this year."
