Change in Significant Share Holding

Aztec was informed today that, further to the issue of 77,777,778 ordinary
shares to Australian Royalties Corporation Pty Limited ("ARC") announced on 24
October 2006, ARC and also Sevag Chalabian, as holder of power of attorney
granted by ARC, have a relevant interest in 77,777,778 ordinary shares of Aztec
representing 6.94% of the Company's issued share capital.
