The  Directors  of the Genesis Malaysia Maju Fund Limited announce  that  the
following were the ten largest holdings of the Fund as at 30th June 2006:

 1. Wah Seong Corporation
 2. IOI Corporation
 3. Transmile Group
 4. Bumiputra Commerce Holdings
 5. SP Setia Group
 6. Batu Kawan
 7. YTL Cement
 8. Aeon Co.
 9. Manulife Insurance
10. Eng Kah

There  were  no holdings, other than certain holdings included  in  the  list
above, of more than 5% of the portfolio.
