    Director Appointment

    Bateman Litwin N.V. (AIM: BNLN) is pleased to announce that Davis Marc Larssen has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer designate
with effect from 26 August 2008. 

    Davis, aged 36, a Chartered Management Accountant, has over fourteen years of oil services and support services experience. Prior to
joining Bateman Litwin, Davis was Regional Vice President Finance of Vetco Gray Limited, a US$2.5 billion oil services company employing
over 5,500 people worldwide. He was responsible for all front end commercial and operating financial issues across eight operating regions.
Before joining Vetco Gray Limited in 2004, Davis worked for Schlumberger Limited, the oil services company, since 1996.

    Davis will also be appointed an Executive Director to the Company and, in accordance with Dutch law, the appointment of a statutory
director is subject to the approval of shareholders in a general meeting. The Board intends to convene an extraordinary general meeting for
this purpose and a circular, with the notice of the meeting, will be distributed to shareholders and holders of depositary interests
shortly.

    The Group also announces that Eyal Cohen, currently Chief Financial Officer, will become Managing Director of Bateman Litwin Israel and
the Former Soviet Union, following a handover period. 

    David Lamont, the recently appointed CEO of Bateman Litwin, said: "We are delighted that Davis has agreed to join the Group. I have
worked with Davis before, at both Vetco Gray and Schlumberger, and I am confident that his extensive financial experience in the oil
services sector will be a tremendous asset to the Company.

a vital role in the integration of the Group into a single global team."
