Castle Alternative Invest AG completes second line share buyback
programme
Castle Alternative Invest AG ('CAI' or 'the Company'), the
global fund of hedge funds investment company listed on the SIX
Swiss Exchange and on the London Stock Exchange (SIX: CASN, LSE:
CAI) announces that it has completed the second line share buyback
programme initiated on June 28, 2012. Accordingly, the second line
on the SIX Swiss Exchange closed after market hours on Wednesday
June 5, 2013.
Pursuant to this programme, CAI has repurchased 1,617,356 shares
with a total consideration of CHF 19.9 million representing 9.89%
of the shares currently in issue. The average purchase price per
share was CHF 12.29. At the Annual General Meeting held on May 14,
2013, approval was given to reduce the share capital from CHF
81,764,085 by CHF 14,905,535 to CHF 66,858,550 by cancellation of
2,981,107 shares. The capital reduction will be implemented with
the Commercial Register after closing of the demerger period, which
will end on July 22, 2013. After cancellation, the Company will
have 13,371,710 shares in issue, currently corresponding to a
market capitalization of approximately CHF 192 million.
