Blackout Period for Second Line Programme

Swiss Takeover Board regulations do not permit the purchase of shares on a company's second trading line during the ten business days prior to the release of any financial results. Given that Castle Alternative Invest AG ("the Company") intends to issue its September 2013 quarterly report after the SIX Swiss Exchange closes on November 19, 2013, the Company will suspend its second line buyback programme between November 6, 2013 and November 19, 2013 inclusive. It is anticipated that the programme will resume on November 20, 2013. Since the second trading line was opened on June 6, 2013, the Company has repurchased 416,000 Ordinary Shares ("shares").

The total number of shares currently in issue is 13,371,710 of which 416,000 are referred to above and 106,406 are shares held in treasury. A further 82,500 shares were purchased for cancellation in the previous second line buyback programme which ended on June 5, 2013 and it is intended that these shares also be cancelled in due course.
