CANACCORD CAPITAL INC. DISCLOSES ISSUANCE OF SHARES 
 
 
 
VANCOUVER, February 9, 2009 - In connection with Canaccord Capital Inc.'s (AIM: 
CCI) acquisition in January 2006 of Adams Harkness Financial Group Inc., a 
privately held Boston, Massachusetts based institutional investment bank, 
616,205 common shares have been issued to those employees who received awards 
under the retention plan and were continuously employed for the 36 months 
following the acquisition as required by the plan. 
 
It is anticipated that these common shares will be admitted to trading on 
February 12, 2009. Following the issue of these new common shares, the company 
will have 55,252,344 common shares in issue.
