I am writing to notify you that in accordance with the disclosure requirements
of the above Act Henderson Investors Limited and its fellow subsidiaries
including AMP Asset Management Limited (acting as agent for its discretionary
clients) notified us on 21 September 1999 that they now hold (either directly or
indirectly) 1,328,863 ordinary 25p shares in Isotron plc which represents 10.47%
of the Issued Share Capital.

Within the 1,328,863 total, Henderson Technology Trust Plc hold 547,495 shares
which represent 4.32% of the Issued Share Capital.
