China Western Investments plc ("China Western" or "the Company") 
 
Director/PDMR Shareholding; Holding in Company 
 
The Company announces that it has been notified today that the following 
transfers of shares have taken place: 
 
Pointex Enterprises Limited owner of 23,760,000 shares (equivalent to 3.3 per 
cent. of the issued share capital of the Company) and Estigreat Company Limited 
owner of 5,940,000 shares (equivalent to 0.8 per cent. of the issued share 
capital of the Company) have disposed of their holdings in the Company.  Both 
companies are owned by the family of John Ho, a director of China Western. 
 
Both Pointex Enterprises Limited and Estigreat Company Limited have disposed of 
the total of 29,700,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 0.68p per share to Mr. Lam 
Kin Chung. Consequently Mr. Lam Kin Chung holds 84,348,000 Ordinary Shares 
equivalent to 11.58 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company. 
Following the transfers, John Ho has an interest in China Western shares through 
his 65 per cent. holding in Ho King Assets Corporation which owns 191,999,700 
shares equivalent to 26.4 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
