Civica announces that application has today been made for 30,000 ordinary shares
of 5 pence each in the capital of the  Company to be admitted to trading on AIM,
pursuant to the exercise of 30,000 options granted under the Company's Long 
Term Incentive Plan.

It is expected that dealings in these new ordinary shares, which will rank pari
passu in all respects with the existing  issued share capital of the Company,
will commence on 31st January 2008.
