Charlton Athletic plc ("Charlton" or "the Company")

Charlton  Athletic plc announces that Roger Norman Alwen,  a
director, has resigned from the board with immediate effect.
Roger  Alwen  is planning to reduce his commitments  and  to
spend more time abroad and therefore has reluctantly decided
that  he  will  not be able to devote the time  required  to
fulfil  his duties to the company. He remains a director  of
the football club.
