"Charlton Athletic announces that its team manager, Alan Curbishley, will be
leaving the football club at the end of the current season after fifteen years
in charge. The decision was reached by mutual consent after he indicated that he
did not intend to extend his current contract beyond 2007. The Company will now
advertise the position and start the process of recruiting his successor. "
