    Canton Property Investment Limited

    (the "Company" or "Canton Properties")

    Exercise of warrants, cancellation of warrants and issue of new shares

    Canton Properties announces that warrants over 1,119,724 ordinary shares of no par value  ("Ordinary Shares") were exercised on 22 May
2008 at an exercise price of 45 pence per share. In addition, warrants over a further 5,512,488 Ordinary Shares were cancelled in exchange
for the issue of 2,756,244 new Ordinary Shares.  The new Ordinary Shares have been issued and allotted and they will rank pari passu in all
respects with the existing Ordinary Shares. Application has been made for the new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to AIM and trading is
expected to commence on or around 29 May 2008.

    The total number of Ordinary Shares in issue following the exercise and cancellation of warrants and the issue of new Ordinary Shares
will be 412,775,968 Ordinary Shares.
