Core VCT II PLC and Core VCT III PLC (the "Companies")
Update on Offers and proposed opening of New Offers

The Companies note that certain VCT commentator websites have indicated that the
original offers (the "Offers") of shares in the Companies), constituted by the
terms of a prospectus dated 24 October 2005 ("the Prospectus"), are now closed.
The Companies can confirm that the Offers have experienced substantial demand in
recent days and are now close to being full and so are expected to close soon.

However, in order to satisfy this continuing demand, the Companies hereby
announce that they propose to make further offers (the "New Offers") after the
Offers close of up to 1,500,000 shares in the capital of each Company at an
issue price of 100p per share, such issue to be on the same terms as the shares
issued pursuant to the Prospectus. Any prospective shareholders who would like
to take up the New Offers (which will be allocated on a first come first served
basis) should contact Brewin Dolphin Tax Solutions on 0207 246 1162, who will
explain the application process.

Since the aggregate value of shares offered under the New Offers is less than
Euro2.5m in respect of each of the Companies, in accordance with paragraph 9 of
Schedule 11A to the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 ("FSMA") there is no
requirement under Part VI of FSMA for the Company to issue a prospectus in
relation to the terms of the New Offers.

Brewin Dolphin Securities Limited ("Brewin Dolphin"), which is authorised and
regulated by the Financial Services Authority, confirms in relation to the New
Offers that investors interested in subscribing under the terms of the New
Offers should have regard to the terms of the Prospectus (issued in connection
with the Original Offer) in relation to the nature of the shares under the New
Offers and the general position of the Companies. The Prospectus has been
approved for issue by Brewin Dolphin under the terms of Section 21(2)(a) FSMA.

Potential investors should note that, in connection with the New Offers, Brewin
Dolphin is acting for the Company and no one else and will not be responsible to
any other person for providing the protections afforded to customers of Brewin
Dolphin or providing advice in connection with the New Offer.
