                         OPERATIONS BOARD STRENGTHENED


Debtmatters Group plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Jonathan Timmis
to its Operations Board as a Technical Director with effect from 2 January 2007.

Jonathan (39) is a licensed insolvency practitioner with significant sector
experience having held senior positions within the industry including roles at
Lathams as well as Ratcliffe & Co (a predecessor to Debtmatters).

Jonathan, who joins from his own successful Lancaster based practice, which he
founded in 1999, will bring with him a portfolio of cases as well five
experienced members of staff who will join Debtmatters' Corporate and Commercial
Division.

Jonathan replaces David Rankin who recently left the company and will play a key
role in supporting and strengthening the Company's systems as it continues to
accelerate its growth within the IVA and Secured Loan sectors.

in an attempt to agree a regulation framework for the industry and we at
Debtmatters are actively involved in this debate. We agree with and are ready
for increased regulation for the IVA industry and will update shareholders on
progress in this area in due course
