                            Statement re. Share Price


The Board of Debtmatters Group plc, in response to the recent share price fall,
triggered by the negative market reaction to the recent announcements from
certain of the Company's competitors, is pleased to announce that both its IVA
and loan broking business are trading broadly in line with market expectations
for the full year to 31 March 2007.

As anticipated, the IVA sector is experiencing increased competitive pressure.
In line with strategy, and in order to address this trend, we have invested in
our business to make it more efficient at both securing and processing IVAs. The
Group has also diversified with the acquisition of Loanmakers and it now offers
consumers a range of complementary debt solutions.

Our business continues to trade well and the Board will update shareholders with
further progress in due course
