                             Annual General Meeting


At the Company's Annual General Meeting held today all resolutions, except that
relating to the continuation of the Company as an investment trust, were passed.

Accordingly, the Board will consider proposals for the Company's future and will
be consulting with shareholders in this regard. The proposals will be put to
shareholders as soon as is practicable and in any event, in accordance with the
Company's Articles of Association, within 180 days of today's date.

It is expected that the proposals will include the opportunity for shareholders
to realise their investment at net asset value less relevant costs which include
those associated with the Company's outstanding warrants, together with a
rollover option.

As a consequence of the failure of the continuation vote the Directors have
agreed that, in view of Richard Watkins' experience and history with the
Company, he should remain as a Director and Chairman to oversee the formulation
of proposals for the Company's future in the period leading up to the these
being put to shareholders.
