                                 AGM Statement

At today's annual general meeting, Mr James Reiman, Chairman, will make the
following statement.

"I am pleased with the progress that EBT Mobile China is making. Last year we
completed laying down the foundations to support the rapid expansion of our
retail store network and began the aggressive build-out of that network,
doubling the number of stores over the period. 2007 has started at an equally
fast pace:


   * Since January 1, we have opened 49 stores, an increase of 25%

   * In January, we successfully raised #7.5m to finance an accelerated roll
     out of our business expansion.

   * We have expanded and entrenched our already strong relationship with
     China Mobile, China's dominant mobile service provider.

   * We have signed an important agreement with Motorola to open joint
     branded kiosks and stores.

   * We have acquired a small Shanghai based retailer with excellent
     locations and a successful handset repair business, which we intend to
     expand.

   * And, finally, we've adjusted our internal systems and procedures in
     order to enhance margins and profits, and these new systems are starting to
     show positive results.


"The Board continues to believe that EBT is very well placed to deliver on our
plan for growth and earnings by leveraging our existing and growing retail
distribution platform and our strong relationships with retailers, leading
service providers, and handset manufacturers. We remain confident of delivering
our expected performance for 2007."
