London, 29 October 2007 - Equator Exploration Limited ("Equator" or the
"Company") was informed on 26 October 2007 that on that date, Philip Rand,
Director, through his Self Invested Pension Scheme, ("SIPP") purchased 40,000
ordinary shares in the Company at 14.75p per share. Following this purchase,
Philip Rand, through his SIPP, owns a total of 50,000 ordinary shares,
representing a holding of 0.03% in the Company's issued share capital.
