Emerging Market Minerals (AIM: EMM), the AIM quoted uranium, thorium, base and precious metals and gemstones exploration and development company operating in Madagascar, announces that Dr Bernard Olivier, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, has resigned from the Board with immediate effect to focus on his other business interests.

Martin Nicholls, Executive Chairman of Emerging Market Minerals, commented:
