Result of AGM and Board Composition

Eredene Capital PLC (AIM: ERE), the AIM quoted investor in Indian infrastructure, announces that all resolutions proposed at the Company's Annual General Meeting (AGM), held at 11.30am today, were duly passed.

The Company had announced in its Annual Report that the Company's Finance Director, Gary Varley, would be stepping down from the board on 30 September 2012. The Company further announced in the AGM circular dated 3 August 2012 that, due to the change in the Company's strategy, Mr Varley would remain on a consultancy basis until at least the end of 2012 and a replacement would not be sought. The Company is pleased to announce that Mr Varley has now agreed to extend his consultancy contract until 31 July 2013 and will remain on the board during that period.
