Pursuant to section 198 of the Companies Act 1985 the board of the Company
received notification on 21 August 2006 that the beneficial interest in the
122,905,952 ordinary shares in the Company held by Pershing Keen Nominees
Limited, representing approximately 11.2 per cent of the issued ordinary share
capital of the Company, held on 17 August 2006 was with effect from that date
held solely on behalf of Pershing Securities Limited.

The ordinary issued share capital of the Company is 1,089,826,447 ordinary
shares of 0.1 pence.
