Block Listing Application

The Company has applied for 14,257 common shares of 20 pence each in the

Company to be admitted to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock

Exchange. These shares will be allotted pursuant to the exercise of options under the Hardy Underwriting Bermuda Limited Savings-Related Share Option Scheme as and when such options are exercised. They form the subject of a block listing application. Admission of such shares to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange is expected to occur on Tuesday 14 June. The shares will be issued fully paid and will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing common shares of the company.
