Impax Asian Environmental Markets plc announces that as at the close of business on 1 August 2013 its unaudited net asset value ("NAV") per ordinary share ("Share") was as follows:

 Undiluted NAV per Share (excluding current 
  financial year revenue items)                104.64p 
 Diluted NAV per Share (including current 
  financial year revenue items)                103.91p 
 Diluted NAV per Share (excluding current 
  financial year revenue items)                103.88p 
 

The Calculation Date (as defined in the circular to shareholders dated 4 July 2013) is close of business on 2 August 2013. Therefore, the Company will not be publishing any further net asset values.

Investments in the Company's portfolio have been valued on a bid price basis.

Diluted NAV per Share assumes full conversion of all outstanding subscription shares in issue to Shares at the subscription price of 100.0p per Share.

No adjustment for dilution to the above NAV has been made in respect of any Shares held in treasury as the Company's presently stated policy is that treasury shares will not be sold at less than NAV.

No provision has been made in the above NAV for the costs of the Proposals announced on 4 July 2013 which are estimated to represent approximately 0.6 per cent. of the Company's net assets.
