HEADLINE: Retirement of Director

The Board of Invesco Perpetual AiM VCT plc announces that David Norwood will
retire as a Director of the Company with effect from 31 December 2008. David
has indicated that he will be giving up all of his business interests to pursue
a career outside the business world.

Julian Avery, the Chairman said `the Board is very grateful for the valuable
contribution David has made since inception of the Company. The Board wishes
him every success with his future endeavours.'
