Transaction in Own Shares

The Company announces that on 17 December 2010 it purchased, for cancellation, a total of 1,461,081 ordinary shares of 1p in the Company, representing 10% of the issued share capital of the Company, from Rapid Realisations Fund Limited ("Rapid") at a price of 51 pence per ordinary share.

The share purchase was transacted in accordance with the share buy-back authority approved by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting in May 2010 and exhausts the buy-back authority in respect of the current financial year. Following the share purchase and cancellation, the Company's issued share capital will comprise 13,149,735 ordinary shares of 1p. The Company holds no shares in treasury.

The Company has been notified that following the transaction Rapid is now interested in 1,096,720 ordinary shares of 1p, representing 8.34% of the issued share capital of the Company.
