London Asia Chinese Private Equity Fund Limited
("LACPEF" or "the Company")


Annual General Meeting


LACPEF, wishes to announce that the First Annual General Meeting of the Company
will be held in Guernsey on 17th August 2007 at 2.30 p.m. This is in accordance
with The Companies (Guernsey) Laws, 1994 to 1996 as amended whereby it is
required to hold its first Annual General Meeting prior to 23rd August 2007,
such date being no more than eighteen months since the date of registration of
the Company.

Due to the nature of the Company's investments the Audited Annual Accounts will
not be finalised in sufficient time to be approved at the Annual General
Meeting. The Directors therefore propose to hold an Adjourned Annual General
Meeting later in the year for the purpose of laying the Audited Accounts before
the Company, appointing the Auditors and approving the Company's Investment
Strategy as required by Rule 8 of the AIM Rules.
