    Change of Name to China Growth Opportunities Limited

    Following approval by the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting on 27 October 2008, the London Asia Chinese Private Equity Fund
Limited has changed its name to China Growth Opportunities Limited.

    The new name and TIDM codes of 'CGOP' for the Company's Ordinary Shares and 'CGOW' for the warrants will take effect on the AIM market
of the London Stock Exchange from 8:00 am on 12 November 2008.

    The Company also announces that its website address has today changed to:
     www.chinagrowthopportunities.com.
