    Lewis Charles Sofia Property Fund Limited (the "Company")

                           Appointment of new Chairman

Lewis Charles Sofia Property Fund Limited (AIM: LCSS) today announces that Lord
Howard of Penrith has decided to step down from his role as Chairman and as a
director of the Company with immediate effect. Lord Howard has been Chairman of
the Company from its admission to trading on AIM in September 2005.

The Board is pleased to announce that Charles Burton has been appointed as
Chairman and as a director of the Company with immediate effect.

Charles Burton has an excellent track record of senior executive responsibility,
most recently at Experian Group where has been Global Managing Director of the
Business Strategies Division since 2002. This role encompasses widespread
exposure to the property investment sector, for which the division supplies
data, forecasts and due diligence on portfolios and individual sites throughout
Europe. Charles is a member of the Scottish Executive's Economic Consultants'
group and a Fellow and former Treasurer of the Society of Business Economists.

The information required to be disclosed in accordance with the AIM rules with
respect to the appointment of Charles as a director of the Company is set out in
Appendix 1.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Lord Howard for all his
valuable contribution during his two and a half year tenure.
