                          Offer to sell Shares - Update
     
                             Offer period extended


London Asia (AIM: LDC.L) the Asian focused investment group, announces the
following update in relation to the announcement made on 3 October 2007 offering
shareholders the opportunity to acquire certain shares owned by London Asia in
certain of its investee companies ("the Offer"). The original deadline for
applications to be received was 3.00 p.m on 18 October 2007.


Due to the recent disruption caused by postal workers' industrial action in the
UK and having spoken to a number of shareholders, London Asia has decided to
extend the deadline to 3.00 p.m. on Thursday 25 October 2007. Shareholders who
have already returned their forms by the original deadline will receive their
allocations in full.


Jack Wigglesworth Chairman of London Asia commented: "Response to the offer to
date has been very strong, but we were concerned that due to problems in the UK
postal system many shareholders only recently received their offer documents. As
a result and in order to be fair to all shareholders we have taken the decision
to extend the offer period by a week."
