SUSPENSION OF LISTING AND TRADING

15 October 2008

Life Offices Opportunities Trust PLC (the "Company") announces that, as set out
in the circular (the "Circular") to shareholders published on 16 September
2008, the Company's ordinary shares were suspended from listing on the Official
List of the UK Listing Authority and from trading on the London Stock Exchange
at 7.30 a.m. this morning, 15 October 2008. It is expected that listing of
those shares on the Official List of the UKLA will be cancelled no later than
8.00 a.m. on 16 October 2008.
