                    Results of Extraordinary General Meeting


Latitude Resources plc ('the Company') today announces that all of the
resolutions put to shareholders at today's Annual General Meeting this morning
have been approved.

In addition, the Company is pleased to announce that David Whitehead, a
non-executive director of the Company, has been appointed Non-Executive
Chairman.

Commenting on his appointment Mr Whitehead said "I am very pleased to be able to
take on the role of Latitude's Chairman. Given the Company's gross cash position
of �16.5 million it is well placed to take advantage of investment opportunities
as they arise."
